About

My name is Marty Markenson. I just graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in mechanical engineering. I will be traveling in South East Asia from May 29th- July 19th. Many of my friends visited the region while studying abroad and raved about it. I thought I would see what the hype is all about.

Tyler and I will be traveling together for 6 weeks, Eric and Julia will join us for the first two weeks. There are certain places in Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia we want to see and things we want to experience.  But we’ve left our itinerary open so that we can adjust as we go.

Thanks for reading! I’m sure it will be wild ride!  I’ll keep this blog updated so you can follow the trip.

P.S. SEA stand for South East Asia hopefully I won’t be spending too much time in the actual sea…I’ll save that for another trip.
